Before you begin : What is TOR ? please read here.

The TorLinux Browser Bundle allow you to use Tor in Linux without needing to install any software . The Tor Linux Browser Bundle can run on a  USB flash drive (better if encrypted with truecrypt).



1) Go to and download the BETA Tor Browser Bundle for Linux  and decompress it.



2) Go inside  the folder tor-browser_en-US and run ./start-tor-browser and wait until a Tor circuit is established .



3) When onion became green a a sucessfull Tor circuit is created, in a few seconds firefox will popup.




4)Firefox will start on the "Tor Check" page in order to check if the browser is working through a TOR exit node.



5) Now you can point the browser to your favourite websites an surf anonymously.
